Katrina Animal Rescue: How Helping Animals Helps People

This seminar recounts the profound devastation in Slidell, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. In a 45 minute PowerPoint presentation, Gigi will share her experiences volunteering for ‘Noah’s Wish Disaster Response Team for Animals’ and explain how they were able to rescue 2,000 animals and reunite 78% of them with their families.
